Hello, I’m Samuele, graphic designer based in Vienna working across branding, editorial design and visual systems.

My education exposed me to different ways of thinking and working as a designer; a Bachelor’s in Industrial Design in Bolzano, an Erasmus exchange in Bristol focused on Type & Print, a Master’s in Communication and Design for Publishing from ISIA Urbino, a second Erasmus exchange at HfG Karlsruhe with focus on Communication Design, followed by a year as research assistant on a project about design and crisis response for ISIA Urbino.

Over the past years I’ve worked at studios and agencies in Bolzano, Stuttgart, Vienna and Linz. With Bureau Progressiv in Stuttgart, I worked end to end on visual identity and print production for cultural and public clients, including the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie (today’s Bodensee Philharmonie), the city of Stuttgart, Heidelberger Kunstverein and the Goethe-Institut.

With WHY. in Vienna, I developed brand identities and motion design for institutional and real-estate clients, including the YOCA project for the Arbeiterkammer Wien and ÖBB.

With Andup in Linz, I built visual social-media systems for clients in the building sector, real estate and institutional clients.

I now work independently, taking on freelance projects across branding and digital design. I like to think concepts meant to resonate in today’s fast paced digital world yet respecting traditional offline mediums.

Always open to new interesting work, please get in touch!

See what I’m working on
